2024 Tour in Support of Soldiers Songs and Voices
For 8 years, Phoebe Hunt has worked with Soldier Songs and Voices to organize and facilitate an annual songwriting retreat for veterans, the Reveille Songwriting Retreat. The organization provides free instruments and songwriting lessons to veterans as a form of post-conflict care. In the course of this work, hundreds of songs have emerged and Hunt herself been a part of many meaningful co-writes with the veteran participants, some of which appear on her recent solo fiddle + voice record “Nothing Else Matters.”
In 2024, Phoebe will tour in support of Soldiers Songs and Voices, weaving her intimate solo performance with stories of the healing power of songwriting and the organization that facilitates it. The tour will support the organization and Reveille Retreat through advocacy, donation opportunities, and merch sales.
The show presents a unique opportunity for venues to support the very meaningful work of these fine veteran artists by providing an entrancing, engaging evening with acclaimed fiddle player and songstress, Phoebe Hunt. Every show is a unique experience - facilitating an audience member’s personal journey through the lens of song through engagement and conversation. Phoebe’s passion for connection with fans and participants starts even before the show, and more often than not leads to some special after-show moments.
